These are the steps that we follow in our tax preparation process;

Step #1
Electronically sign our retainer agreement, engagement letter and pre-pay the estimated fee for the services.
Our primary goal is to assist you to file accurate tax returns. We always keep the best interest of our clients and work on getting the maximum refund legally allowed. Typically we try to brain storm couple of scenarios within the legal framework based on the information provided by you and work accordingly.

Step#2
During the tax time you will provide us with all the required documents (via our electronic delivery system). or You can mail us copies of all the original documents as a packet to the Missouri city office via UPS, USPS, FedEx if we have told you to do so. We will request for additional documents if it needed to do so and explanations for income and deductions via e-mail.

Step#3
Once step#2 is complete draft#1 version of the tax return will be prepared and turned around within 7 business days.

Step#4
You verify all the information on the tax return and review it for accuracy.

Step#5
We will schedule a telephone meeting if it required to do so

Step#6
If your tax return warrants an extension, we will electronically submit the extension after all the required documents for e-file authorization e-signed and received by us.

Step# 7
If any information is missing or needs to be corrected, we will do so in the draft#2 version of the tax return and resend it for review again on your part

Step#8
If further correction is needed, we will send out draft#3 version of the tax return for your review.

Step#9
You have the option to choose your bank account either for a refund or payment via direct deposit or direct pay

Step#10
If the tax return is ready for submission, we will send out the e-file authorization forms for e-signature.

Step#11
Once we receive all the necessary documents signed, we will e-file your tax return.

You will get e-mails updating the status of the tax return submitted and explains whether it got accepted or not.
